ClimateFarming

Holistic Resource Management for Climate Resilience of Farming

Fase de iniciativa: Bem estabelecido e em funcionamento

ClimateFarming is an Erasmus+ project co-funded by the EU that supports farms, advisors and trainers in planning and implementing climate adaptation and mitigation measures in agriculture (project duration: October 2022 - March 2025).

The project develops forward-looking advisory and training materials to strengthen the climate resilience of farms, based on methods and findings from regenerative agriculture, among other things. The innovative approach of the ClimateFarming cycle offers both practical measures to improve soil health and strategic guidelines for the reorganisation of farms.

The project is a 30-month collaborative partnership between partners in Germany, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic. Under the leadership of CEFE International (vocational training), the Pafendall eco-centre in Luxembourg is working together with Triebwerk (Germany) and Ampi (Czech Republic), which are committed to regenerative and regional agriculture. To ensure a high degree of practical relevance, farms in all three countries are involved as partners. Other partners have also been associated with the project. In Luxembourg: the arable farming school LTA, the Lëtzebuerger Landjugend a Jongbaueren (LLJ), the Solawi farm Krautgaart and the Institut fir biologësch Landwirtschaft an Agrarkultur Luxemburg (IBLA). In Germany, among others: the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bäuerliche Landwirtschaft (AbL) and the Bioland association.
