Objectivos

One-third of the world's resources that are produced worldwide are currently wasted and not consumed. The resources that are contained in them, such as tonnes of waste, water, transport, etc., are now being wasted.The association fights against waste and wastage of resources, as well as promoting the exchange of resources, which must be changed. By sensitising people to the topic and making them aware of its impact on the climate, the environment and society, Foodsharing Luxembourg aims to dramatically reduce waste by promoting systemic change.

Efeito

Since 2019, we have saved 800 tonnes of waste. We collect donations that are handed over by donors to other organisations, but we don't sell them if they are not collected by a close charitable initiative. We publicly provide places where you can take your food for free, such as food sharing points. We analyse the current situation of food waste and food wastage and want to continue to make improvements to the relevant legislation, to the right of the public and political authorities.

Grupo-alvo

We are a close-knit organisation made up of volunteers, but we are happy to welcome motivated members aged 18 and over. Please join us in a bright and close-knit information union, which you can find on our site Foodsharing.lu.
