In January 2023, the Ôpen citizens' house was created on the initiative of a number of citizens from the municipality of Junglinster.
The aim of Ôpen is to serve as a meeting place for creativity and community, and to enable discussions on a fairer, more resilient and more sustainable economy.
Although the meeting place is new, a number of events have already taken place: workshops for parents and young people, beer brewing, planting in the community's own brewery, etc.
beer brewing, planting in its own greenhouse, food-sharing events and various exhibitions.
The citizens' centre is run by the non-profit association of the same name, which now has around 60 members. Members have the opportunity to enrich the house with their own ideas.
