Park Sënnesräich
A playful and educational park with many activities that revolve around experiencing nature and the five human senses.
Initiative phase: Well established and runningPark Sënnesraich was founded in 2017 and has since offered playful and educational activities revolving around the five human senses.
The Garden of the 5 Senses is located in the outdoor part of the park. Here, nature is to be explored in a playful and didactic way. This is possible, for example, through the barefoot path, the "rustle of the trees" area, the taste garden or the sculptures of the 5 senses. The garden is freely accessible and barrier-free every day until 5 pm.
The park is complemented by the indoor area - the Hall of the 5 Senses. Here, visitors can conduct a wide variety of scientific experiments that are explained in easy-to-understand language and are suitable for children. Thanks to simple, quick and fun experiments, numerous chemical, physical and biological phenomena can be demonstrated.
An entrance fee must be paid for the indoor area. The area is also barrier-free.
There is also a bistro in the park, which offers options for a variety of catering.
Park Sënnesräich also wants to promote integration and therefore employs staff with a disability in order to promote their autonomy as well as to offer them a long-term, interesting job that suits their abilities.
