Initiative phase: Well established and runningPart&Act is a programme offered by IMS Luxembourg for its member companies and associate members (associations, NGOs or SIS working in the field of sustainable development). The aim of this programme is to facilitate and raise the awareness of IMS member companies to maintain privileged relations with the social economy sector within the framework of win-win partnerships.
To help you develop your action, we :
- Build links between the voluntary sector and the business world;
- Build projects;
- Monitor your partnership.
What is a partnership?
A partnership is a collaborative and co-ordinated relationship of equals between several organisations that aim to achieve common goals by leveraging their complementary skills and approaches. A strategic partnership must meet the objectives and needs of both organisations.
Why participate as an association?
- To mobilise new resources or skills needed to carry out a project;
- Extend the reach of your message across the company and interact with its ecosystem;
- Strengthen your local roots and develop a network of volunteers.
Why participate as a company?
- To concretely implement an aspect of its CSR strategy and develop more responsible practices;
- Improve internal cohesion, give employees a sense of purpose and enhance their skills;
- Raising the company's profile and visibility.
What types of partnership are possible?
Responsible purchasing |
Demonstrate your commitment to CSR through your purchases Buy differently on a day-to-day basis by working with companies in the social economy (sheltered workshops, work-based integration structures, fair trade, etc.). |
Communication |
Give visibility to an association whose values are consistent with those of the company Reciprocal exchange of logos or communication elements, promotion of the association via a newsletter or intranet, organisation of an awareness-raising event (conference, workshop, exhibition, etc.). |
Equipment |
Meeting the logistical needs of an association Computer hardware, office furniture, equipment hire (vehicles, sound systems, etc.), provision of meeting rooms or premises. |
Volunteering |
Helping an association in the field as part of a team Organising a community day with a social and/or environmental focus (building, renovation, gardening, running stalls, etc.), organising a charity event, etc. |
Skills sponsorship |
Share your professional or personal skills for the benefit of an association project Sponsoring the skills of volunteer employees during their working hours (translation, communication, law, finance, strategy, etc.) |
Transferring expertise |
Developing more responsible practices thanks to the expertise of the social economy Use of the social economy to develop the company's practices |
Integration |
Integrating people who are far from employment through the company Responsible recruitment in collaboration with Luxembourg associations with expertise in integration |
