Transition Nord a.s.b.l. ensures, together with a group of committed citizens, the organisation and follow-up of the following initiatives
Community gardens: an initiative for food production in the urban environment, citizen participation and awareness raising against food waste.
Babbelcafé: a language café to get to know other cultures and the possibility for people to practice Luxembourgish, French and German.
Kascht-Näischt-Buttek: a shop to give a second life to objects that are still in good condition: clothes, kitchen utensils, toys, books, decoration in order to fight against the consumer society.
CoLab Makerspace: a community workshop to work, tinker, exchange and help each other. Tools and machines for carpentry, 3D printers and laser cutting are available to members.
Fair sharing of rescued foodstuffs: a system for recovering unsold foodstuffs from shops and redistributing them throughout the community.
