Digital Skills Partnership

Meet, exchange ideas and collaborate between companies and digital project leaders.

Fase de iniciativa: Bem estabelecido e em funcionamento

Digital technology has become an indispensable part of our daily lives, profoundly changing the way we communicate, work, learn and even interact with our environment. As a result, everyone in society is having to adapt to this digital transformation. At IMS, we believe that digitalisation is a crucial issue if we are to meet the challenges facing society today and create a sustainable future for everyone. We also believe that this shift must be taken collectively by all stakeholders, and that collaboration and skills sharing are essential to meet this challenge.

The Digital Skills Partnership (DSP) is the programme that gives concrete expression to partnership projects between companies and initiatives around digital issues.

Initiatives can be :

  • Social and Solidarity Economy structures
  • Public organisations
  • Educational and/or training establishments
  • Research players.

What these initiatives have in common is their commitment to digital technology and their desire to make a positive difference to society.

For the initiatives, the DSP brings visibility; it's an opportunity to raise awareness of their causes and to obtain decisive help thanks to the partnerships set up.

Participating companies can support local initiatives by putting their CSR policy into practice, mobilising their employees and getting involved in projects with a positive impact.

The programme is spread over several key phases:

  • Preparatory workshops dedicated to companies and project leaders, aimed at preparing them effectively for the creation of partnerships.
  • A "Digital Skills Matchmaking" event organised as a speed meeting. This major gathering is a unique opportunity for companies and initiatives to connect, share ideas and create partnerships.
  • Follow-up workshops to nurture and cultivate newly established partnerships, ensuring their continued success.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the partnerships created.

The Digital Skills Partnership programme is supported by the Digital Luxembourg initiative of the Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy Department of the Ministry of State, by the European Social Fund and by the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition.

Objectivos

The Digital Skills Partnership programme has several objectives:

To promote and support organisations involved in the social economy and social innovation in Luxembourg.

The partnerships set up by the not-for-profit organisations enable them to receive decisive help from the companies involved. This programme also gives these organisations greater visibility, enabling them to increase their impact.

Promoting and supporting the commitment of Luxembourg companies

Participating companies will be able to support local initiatives by putting their CSR policy into practice, mobilising their employees and getting involved in projects with a positive impact.

Promoting skills development in the digital field through partnerships between businesses and non-profit organisations.

The Digital Skills Partnership (DSP) programme is designed to facilitate meetings and collaboration between companies, SSE players, public organisations and research bodies. It also plays a role in raising awareness of the importance of developing digital skills.

Promoting and intensifying IT skills sponsorship in Luxembourg

The aim is to intensify the exchange of IT skills through a survey and the publication of a report. A survey will be carried out and published in order to gain a better understanding of the ins and outs of the digital skills of companies, associations and their beneficiaries, and to propose appropriate solutions for developing IT skills sponsorship. The report will include a summary of the findings and recommendations, an analysis of the interviews and proposals for action.
Workshops will also be offered to promote and facilitate the practice of IT skills sponsorship in Luxembourg.

Grupo-alvo

Increasing skills in the area of digitisation is a key challenge for society, and one that brings together a range of players and stakeholders in Luxembourg. The federation of these players and good cooperation are two essential elements for the success of this project. Generally speaking, IMS develops structural projects that do not involve direct beneficiaries (people in difficulty, people who are far from employment, etc.) but rather organisations (companies, associations, etc.).) but rather organisations (companies, associations, institutions), which, through a multiplier effect, enables it to have a broad impact on society.

The direct targets of this project are :
- social economy structures working in the digital field in Luxembourg
- public organisations
- research players
- Luxembourg businesses
- schools and training centres

And the indirect targets are :
- inactive people and/or jobseekers (particularly inactive women undergoing retraining or new arrivals),
- beneficiaries of associations,
- employees of Luxembourg companies,
- students.
