The Limpertsberg Community Garden was founded in 2014 on the initiative of the City of Luxembourg and covers approximately 630 m2.
The garden is divided into individual plots, which make up one third of the garden, and 9 communal plots.
A variety of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, courgettes, potatoes or strawberries are grown in the garden, as well as herbs and flowers. An annual crop rotation takes place on the communal plots.

What’s needed
Engaged citizenObjectives
The aim of the community garden is to create a garden for local residents, which they can design, grow and maintain exclusively according to ecological principles. Since it is located directly in the district, it is accessible without a car and a place of exchange is created for the people in the neighbourhood.
Target audience
The community garden is aimed at residents of the Limpertsberg district - there is a waiting list for the community garden.
